Selene’s energy is Green! 540 tons of CO2 saved in 2022!
Selene S.p.A., at its plant in Capannori, where the company employs leading-edge technologies for the recovery of used packaging to be regenerated into raw material, last year was able to use 90% green energy, and this figure is expected to reach 100% in 2023.
The above is certified by CEIR – Consorzi Energetici Industriali Riuniti, a Consortium Company that operates in electricity distribution, by stating that almost all the 2,196,911 kWh of electricity consumed by the company in 2022 came from renewable sources. A sustainable consumption in line with current directives that allowed Selene to save over 540 tons of CO2.
Another step forward for the company in reducing environmental impact not only by creating circular production processes by turning waste into resources, but also through controlled and sustainable consumption of electricity.
